As a school of liberal arts established in 2000, the School of Humanities and Law has its distinctive strengths. Over the years, it has produced a bulk of talented graduates under the its motto of “Impartiality”.So far, it has 170 faculty members (including 18 professors and 39 associate professors) who have published 400-plus academic papers, 50-odd academic works and over 20 course books; it has also shouldered more than 100 research projects of provincial level. Over 20 faculty members have won a variety of honors such as Young Academic Pace-setters of Institutions of Higher Learning of Zhejiang Province, New Model Teachers of Zhejiang Province, Winners of 151 Talent Project in the New Century of Zhejiang Province, Renowned Teachers, New Model Teachers of ZAFU, My Best Teachers of ZAFU etc. The school has established cooperative relations with over 10 universities overseas and engage every year foreign experts from USA, UK, Canada and Japan etc. Meanwhile, more than 100 students visit overseas for exchange programs.
